About 'Dilli 6'

Dilli 6 is a celebration of the old and the new, the raw and the refined, the hot and the cold, amongst all those things that makes Delhi the space that it is – beloved of those who live in it and an alluring mystery to those who come to visit.

The Fuschia Tree has organized photography workshops where a photographer with a certain repertoire and style will lead a small, focused group of photography enthusiasts. This group of passionate and like-minded people will explore a facet of Delhi through two ‘onsite’ sessions and one studio session. The group will learn and share various aspects of photography and improve their overall skill to capture the fleeting moments that touch all our hearts through the artistry of lenses.

The work which is created will go on to become an exhibition at The Fuschia Tree gallery and will be promoted through printed catalogs and PR support.

The six journeys of Dilli 6 are:
• Where Dilli begins: Discovering Chandni Chowk, Red Fort and Jama Masjid; Journey focused on Street Photography
• Taste of Dilli : Exploring street food and the love for chaat and kebabs; Journey focused on Street Food Photography
• Markets of Dilli : Exploring Hanuman Mandir and Mehrauli Flower markets; Journey focused on Market Photography
• Fashion of Dilli : Exploring the eclectic fusion of Delhi’s unique fashion sense; Journey focused on Portfolio Photography
• Monuments of Dilli : Lodhi Tombs, Hauz Khas, Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb; Journey focused on Architectural Photography
• Coming to Dilli : Delhi Railway Station; Journey focused on Art photography
